Customer portal development for LIWEST

LIWEST is Upper Austria's number 1 cable market. Together, we have developed “MY LIWEST” - a self-service customer portal that allows customers to view costs transparently at any time and make product changes.

Our client LIWEST wanted to develop a completely new customer portal with this project, one that would replace an existing JSF 1.0 application completely. The main challenges were connecting to the existing booking system and creating an anti-corruption layer for the existing backend (SOAP & Seam 3).

Solution content

The solution includes self-service processing of the relevant master data by the customer as well as ordering and managing products. From a technical perspective, an Angular application with Java EE backend was developed, which serves as an anti-corruption layer and accesses the existing LIWEST backend via SOAP or rest.
